Intelligent Transportation System Improvements – East Los Angeles Fiber 2013 CFP aims to provide communication systems along Atlantic Boulevard, Cesar E. Chavez Avenue, and along Eastern Avenue within the unincorporated East Los Angeles area and portions of cities of Los Angeles and Commerce. The purpose of the project is to provide a means of communication to the various ITS elements within the East Los Angeles community. The project is also critical communication links for the various upcoming projects in LA County to include such as the Integrated Corridor Management (ICM) project along the I-710 being developed by LA Metro.
