How District 40 Invests in the Antelope Valley’s Future?

Investing in Reliable Water Service
Two projects currently helping strengthen District 40’s water system include:

• Pearblossom Highway Water Main Relocation
  District 40 is relocating and upgrading critical water mains along the Pearblossom Highway corridor. So far, 6,900 feet of steel water main have been relocated and seven fire hydrants reconnected, helping strengthen water delivery and system reliability.
  
• District 40 Valve Replacement Project
  District 40 is replacing critical valves throughout the system to help reduce unexpected service disruptions and allow crews to respond more efficiently when repairs are needed.

Preparing Our Community
Reliable infrastructure also plays an important role during emergencies. District 40 coordinates with local fire departments and emergency response agencies to help maintain fire hydrants, water pressure, and water availability when they’re needed most.
